  • Join the crowds – invite your friends to the biggest and best professional learning experience to happen in New Zealand. At Ulearn12 we expect to have over 1600 delegates, 300 presenters, 37 concurrent workshops in each of the 6 breakouts across 4 venues. Add to this over 200 trade representatives from 60 companies and you have your best opportunity to LEARN

  • A range of New Media and Web 2.0 tools will play an exciting role at ULearn12. Online tools such as Twitter, blogs, wikis, and Flickr will be an integral part of the ULearn conference experience. Our conference tag is ulearn12. When you blog, tweet, or upload to a social media site, please tag your entry with either of these labels so that others can search for and find what you have posted.

  • This year 6 breakout sessions will be run over four venues. Within every breakout session there are 38 choices. There will be two breakouts every day, and three keynotes across the conference. A full day of pre-conference workshops is available for selection on Tuesday 9 October. Also, on Tuesday evening, there will be a Conference Showcase (5pm-7.00pm), where you can listen to a few short presentations while having a wine and a few nibbles.

Ulearn11 keynote:
Simon Breakspear

Simon Breakspear argues that for too long technology has been the driving force of change rather than the pedagogy. He urges us to act and to become creative innovators.
